The objective of this document is to define the composition of the Xenon Family of Separation Virtual Machine Monitors. This will support development of a Xenon family that can operate in a variety of computing environments, such as cloud computing, real-time systems, and mobile platforms. Further, through the Xenon Family, DoD can take advantage of improvements provided by the evolving open-source Xen hypervisor. The technical approach is a systematic application of Software Product Line Engineering (SPLE). A systematic application requires describing the family and how to produce desired family members
