Data management that still using the paper-based method, has the risk of damage or loss of data. Inaccurate data will be affect on the calculation of the cost of the electricity bill, so that tenants will be disadvantaged. Electricity bill�s amount of the tenant is always different in every month, so that needed periodic information how much the total cost of the bill. Therefore, needed a system which can handle such problem. Development of Information System Electricity Bill and Boarding House Rent with SMS Gateway facility have a function for helping to manage the data, calculating the electricity bills�s amount and also send a message notification about the deadline date of payment. This system information was built with PHP Programming Language, CodeIgniter framework, Javascript with jQuery framework, Database MySQL and Bootstrap for building system of user interface. This system information can be used to manage tenant data, room data, items data and also bill of tenant. This system also can be used to print receipt of payment per month. Also, this system can be used to recapitalize bill of tenants.
