Tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, zbog utjecaja velikih vrućina ili zbog ljudskog utjecaja često dolazi do nastajanja požara, a suha vegetacija i nepristupačan teren samo pospješuju ubrzano širenje takve vrste požara. Upravo je zbog ovog razloga konstruiran amfibijski zrakoplov Canadair CL-415, čija je svrha gašenje požara na nepristupačnim i zahtjevnim terenima. U ovom je radu napravljena geometrija zrakoplova nalik na Canadair CL-415 koja je prikazana CAD-modelom te su na temelju geometrije određene performanse zrakoplova u horizontalnom letu s time da su odabrane tri različite konfiguracije tereta. Napravljen je i proračun procjene otpora, čime se dobivaju vrijednosti potrebne za određivanje performansi u horizontalnom letu i penjanju. Također je određena ovojnica zrakoplova koja prikazuje maksimalnu i minimalnu brzinu, brzinu sloma uzgona i maksimalnu visinu na kojoj zrakoplov može letjeti. Izrada i proračun numeričkog dijela rada izvedeni su u programskom paketu MATLAB uz korištenje navedene literature. ; During the summer months, due to the impact of high temperatures or human activity, wildfires often occur, with dry vegetation and inaccessible terrain further accelerating their spread. For this reason, the amphibious aircraft Canadair CL-415 was designed specifically for firefighting in remote and demanding environments. In this paper, the geometry of an aircraft similar to the Canadair CL-415 was created and presented as a CAD model. Based on this geometry, the aircraft's performance in horizontal flight was determined, considering three different payload configurations. Additionally, a drag estimation was performed, providing the necessary values for determining horizontal flight and climb performance. The aircraft's flight envelope was also established, illustrating the maximum and minimum speeds, stall speed, and maximum achievable altitude. The numerical calculations in this study were conducted using the „MATLAB“ software package, utilizing relevant literature sources.
