Treffer: Building a genetic programming framework: The added-value of design patterns.

A large body of public domain software exists which addresses standard implementations of the Genetic Programming paradigm. Nevertheless researchers are frequently confronted with the lack of flexibility and reusability of the tools when for instance one wants to alter the genotypes representation or the overall behavior of the evolutionary process.
