Treffer: Fault Detection Effectiveness in GUI Components of Java Environment Through Smoke Test.

Smoke testing assures that the most crucial functions of a software work well. 'Nightly daily/build and Smoke Test' has become more popular and useful mechanism for detecting and eliminating the bugs early in the software development environment. The automation for (re)testing Graphical User Interface (GUI) of software systems which are built using components of Java Beans, Swings or Applets present various challenges in performing smoke test. While it is very easy for the ceremonious software but it is very difficult to develop and automate the rerun GUI based software.
