Treffer: Geofencing technology for service optimization at Manado State Polytechnic.
Weitere Informationen
Currently, Geofence Technology can provide information about the user's location. This research aims to develop the Manado State Polytechnic (POLIMDO) Geofence Application, which provides notifications regarding user location so that it can monitor user whereabouts in real-time. The Manado State Polytechnic (POLIMDO) Geofence application was created using the PHP programming language and for large databases use MySQL while for local databases use SQLite. Calculate the shortest distance to measure the radius when in a Geofencing area using the Haversine method, and for data collection, use observation and interview methods. The results of the research carried out were implementing geofencing area technology at the Manado State Polytechnic Campus. Sixty students tested this application for 14 days by using the application with different cellular network operators. Users will receive a notification when they are in a certain area for 5 – 10 seconds. Therefore, the system testing results show that the Manado State Polytechnic (POLIMDO) Geofence application is feasible and can be used to determine the user's position. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
