Further Information

Lightweight encryption standards or techniques will be used for encryption and decryption to keep hackers from accessing the data in order to achieve improved security for Internet of Things devices. Due to their limited processing and storage capacity, small IoT devices can only support light protocols. Presently, very few lightweight cryptography protocols are being used to secure devices on networks. Nevertheless, a number of current studies have not succeeded in improving IoT security. This paper aims to enhance the security of IoT using Advanced Elgamal signature (AES) with Data Encryption Standard (DES). The encryption with hybrid AES_DES is non-deterministic in the same plain text, which is encrypted multiple times to create cipher text. The other user cannot access the private information because of the round key generation process. However, bruteforce attacks are considered to overcome the hybrid adaptive Elgamal signature. Elgamal decryption process is faster than Rivest, Shamir, and Adleman (RSA). For implementing this proposed study, the Python tool is used, and the performance score of the proposed methods is throughput of 99.68%, transmission rate of 100%, and delay time of 0.3 s.
